Belated Doggy Afters

Wow, I'm way late! Bear and DJ (mentioned here) got a hair cut- er, furcut.

The "photo shoot" was terrible at first, but it picked up when I got my hands on a toy. They love  their toys! And it's so adorable!

This was before I had the toy. Bear: distracted.

At the ready...

I was holding the toy! Bear wanted it sooooooo bad!!!

He was breed to entertain Cuban royalty. He's definitely a people pleasing, entertaining Havanese!

After jumping/twisting/barking like crazy, he finally sat like a good puppy should! I love his little ear! It always flips up when he twists and jumps like that.

This is Bear chasing DJ, who got the toy.

This is the face of a very desperate dog who wants a toy! He sat innocently while Bear acted like a flexible clown.

Somewhere along the way, DJ dropped the toy. Then, he  picked it back after a minute or two. Bear chased even when he didn't have the toy!

Needless to say, Bear and DJ love life, toys, and each other. Also needless to say, I love them so much!

P.S. My Halloween post may come a little later, because of a few complications. Sorry!

Introducing the Dogs: Before!

I love my dogs! They are sweet, hilarious, adorable, and smart. Meet Bear!

He is a four year old Havanese. I got Bear for Christmas in 2007. I woke up at 6:00 AM (just like any normal Christmas), and walked downstairs. I saw puppy supplies by the tree, and assumed that my parents got me a stuffed puppy to play with. Rewind a month. I had wanted a dog for a long time, and my mom and I had been researching breeders/breeds/etc.. We decided that there wasn't enough time to get me a puppy by Christmas. I was devastated, so I asked if I would get one by Valentine's Day. My mom's answer was, "We'll see." Of course. The answer to every question I ask. Not really, but I was sure that it meant yes. Fast forward to Christmas morning. I woke up my brother, and we observed the goodies from upstairs. As we walked downstairs, we saw my grandma making coffee (She's an early riser!). We wished her merry Christmas, and ran to check our stockings. Then, my dad walked in wearing his annual Santa hat. He was carrying my stuffed puppy. He was extremely life-like. I'll admit that I was impressed. Then he moved!! I responded by asking it he was alive! Haha! My dad said yes and we played with him for at least half an hour before finishing our stockings. He went by Puppy for the first three days of his life with us. Then I finally decided to call him Bear.

Awwwww. So cute!

This was taken last winter. He LOVES his little jacket! Unfortunately, DJ chewed it up. Which brings me to DJ.

He is a three year old Goldendoodle. We love his personality! He's hilarious! Anyway, he's my brother's dog, but we all take care of him (same with sweet Bearbo).

So there's DJ!

They're getting groomed on Wednesday! I'm so excited! They are so dirty right now!
