TTFN!

Hey Birdies! I'm leaving for Colorado soon, so this could be my last post for awhile! :(

So today, I want something so so so so easy and casual, I could wear it to the pool!

Nike Tempos. No surprise there! I love that color! If there's a color that doesn't quite work with your skin tone, try it below the waist. It will look so much better!

Yes, that is a bona fide stache! I love me a mustache!

This is the type of outfit that needs literally one accessory. And I'm obsessed with LeSportsac. I'm thinking it will win my summer purse contest! Anyway, how fantastic are those umbrellas?

Of course, top it off with florescent socks. These are more vivid in person. I know because I'm wearing them right now!

Very simple. It's probably realistically how I dress in the heat of the summer. Sad, but true. But I can't wait for summer!

Day 2!

Hey Birdies! It's the second day of my 10 outfits series!

Yesterday, I wore a flouncy skirt and toucan tee. So today, I want something less frilly.

I love shorts with cuffs. I'm so tired of cut-offs! They look more... I can't describe it, but just better. They look a little more put-together.

I love bright watercolor-looking things! It's pretty, but still fun.

I get Havaianas every summer, and never get tired of them. They are comfortable, and they actually look cute! I adore the slim turkish. It's what I got last year, and I wore them to death. Except they didn't die. If it was flip flop weather, I'd be wearing them right now!

Today I wanted something simple, comfortable, and colorful. I think I got it. Actually, I'm sure I got it.

Happy spring break! Where are you guys going? I'm so excited! I'm going skiing! I promise I'll take pictures!

10 Oufits

It's no surprise I love spring . I love the shopping, colors, clothes, weather, and flowers. And this year, I was told to come up with 10 outfits that I could wear for spring/summer. So over the next 10 days, I'll show you my 10 outfits.

Day 1: I want a little floaty skirt and easy tank top.

Perfect.  A little floaty skirt exists. Yay!

Who doesn't love a toucan tee? And It's colorful!

I love leather sandals. They look more put together than flip flops, but they're just as delectably  comfortable!

In the summer, I'm minimalistic* with accessories at best, but I think it needs a bracelet or something. I always carry a small crossbody for chapstick and my phone, and I think something colorful would completely make the outfit.

And sunglasses are a must! You cannot leave the house without neon sunglasses. I find that somewhat ironic. The sunglasses are supposed to shade your eyes, but they're so bright you need sunglasses to be near the sunglasses! I love it!

And I'm obsessed the African bracelets! It employs African women, and it complete an other wise not-really-that-memorable look!

I can't wait until I can actually wear this stuff! It's amazing how quickly summer comes in Texas. One day, it's 40˚, and the next week it at least 80˚ until December the next year! I'm expecting shorts as soon as spring break is over! When do y'all start wearing shorts? This week has been nothing but rain and cold, but I'm utterly thrilled! That's because it will be green for at least the next month! Hopefully the seemingly endless drought will leave soon!

*minimalistic is an optimistic way to say I don't want to spend the time with all these accessories so I just won't wear any.

Plain White Tee

Ok. I have an idea. I'll go back to posting about just random fashion stuff for March. Then in April, I'll do something similar to IMOS.

Today, I'm thinking about the classic white t-shirt. It's oh so versatile, and it's also comfy. And like everything today, there are options.

The first option is the Hanes Tee from Walmart. It's made of cotton.

It's so wearable, but it's casual. If you told me to wear this, I would add casual shorts or even workout shorts.

Dare I suggest gingham? Dare I shall.

And also, I would potentially wear it with Nike Tempos, because, let's face it, I could live in them.

So that's the über casual version.

And now, here's the less casual version. This tee is linen.

It's extremely versatile, but then again, so are all white tees. I would add a little colorful skirt.

Notice they are all from Crewcuts! An XL at Crewcuts is actually really big. And are those skirts not adorable? Love!

So the next step up is really not a step up. It's like a step to the left. Parallel. My algebra teacher would be so proud of that math reference.

It's a supersoft cotton, but it has a drapiness like no other.

It looks so comfortable! And I'm loving the high-ish/low-ish hemline!

We are now entering Lilly territory. Please keep your hands and feet in the ride at all times.

I love me some Lilly! And that print is STUNNING!

And for the last one, I want to show you guys a crepe tee. It's obviously more formal, so DO NOT wear it with Tempos. It will not work. I promise.

Ok, now we can move into DVF stuff. Hold your breath. It could get crazy. Just kidding. But it will get beautiful.

Oh, happy day! I love the print master's work. It's gorgeous!

Those my three levels of plain white tees. They are so versatile, and white is so fabulous with brights. I have a gray version of the linen tissue tee. It's amazing! And don't get me started on Hanes. I love it with my Nike Tempos! How do you wear your white tees?

Once Upon a Time, There was a Horse and a Bandana...

Spring is finally here! After a seemingly never-ending, one month winter, spring is here! It's no longer IMOS, so until I figure out what my posts will be like on this little blog of mine, here's an outfit I love for spring. It's fresh, simple, and fun.

This shirt was definitely my inspiration for today.

Is that not amazing? It's like a bandana!

And it needs some chinos.

And of course, you need extras. I think this requires a little necklace, shoes (duh!), and a headband.

Everyone needs a tiny horse charm. And without realizing it, I picked a horse to go a with a bandana shirt! Sheer genius, I tell you. Sheer genius.

Shoes. Sometimes people overcomplicate things. If you are wearing a horse necklace, you can't rock "complicated". It's impossible. So I want flat shoes, preferably leather.

And a headband. This is important. It's the difference between a regular outfit and something memorable. And let's face it. If your wearing a horse necklace, why not be memorable?

I love rosettes. They add an innocent girliness to everything. And white is outstanding on dark hair.

I would love to wear this outfit. It's how I dress in the summer. But now, it's still cool enough for jeans (on some days). I'm so excited to break my hot pink shorts! For now, here's my latest purchase:

In the picture, it looks navy, but in reality, it's a gorgeous shade of indigo! I'm obsessed!

Any new purchases lately? I know there's so much out there right now! I'm loving the bright, the bold, and the beautiful! What colors are you guys wearing? And how about that fabulous horse charm necklace? It's less than $5!
